Hemet is also home to the famous Ramona Bowl Amphitheater, which has America’s longest running outdoor play “Ramona,” held every year in April and May since 1923.
Valley-Wide parks offer a wide variety of amenities and activities which include athletic fields, picnic areas, and water activities to scheduled day trips by bus. Many of the parks and community centers offer classes or special events for the whole family.
The local Hemet Farmers Market is a lovely weekly, year round event and offers local fresh certified produce, flowers, food court, crafts and gift items. A great way to meet your neighbors!
Nearby the City of Temecula
Just 15 miles south of Hemet is one of California’s more popular “Old West” towns, Temecula. Temecula is a great destination for shopping, wine tasting, hot air ballooning, antique shopping and fine dinning. Temecula is filled with plenty of old west history. In addition, located just south of Temecula is one of the largest casinos in California, “Pechanga.” Pechanga has accommodations and amenities that match that of any Las Vegas casino.
